Guestbook

Just to let you know that our weekend was absolutely lovely. The Looseboxes and Coach House were very comfortable and ideal for our family get-together. The pottery at Eastnor was brilliant fun too!

We have had a lovely stay, the house has worked really well for our group. The pool is kept beautifully and our 5 boys have thoroughly enjoyed using it. Thanks  for a fabulous weekend.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Treago. We booked both cottages for a family get together . The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and the large dining area meant we could all sit and eat together. The kitchens were well equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We would certainly recommend Treago. Thanks to Richard and Fiona

We spent a wonderful weekend at Treago. We booked both cottages for a family birthday celebration (11 Adults, 4 Children and a Dog). The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and the large dining area meant we could all sit and eat together. The kitchens were well equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We would certainly recommend Treago and hope to return next year.

Wonderful stay with a large hen group. Idyllic setting. Spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to have as much space or be as involved as they wanted. The place is superbly tastefully decorated. The furnishings and bedding are all of high quality (actually even better than a lot of self-catering in the same bracket). You can tell Richard and Fiona take great pride in their cottages.

There were plenty of showers (highly important for a group of large girls), and the pool was a well-enjoyed bonus. Lovely to have an uninterrupted private pool for large parts of the day.

Hereford itself is beautiful. Well, we were fellow country folk. Lovely evening in the City Centre and also a wonderful ceramic painting session at Manic Ceramics – the lady there was equally lovely.

I’ve stayed in more places than I care to mention, but would wholeheartedly recommend this one. If you want delightful surroundings in which to relax and connect as a group.

I didn’t know about your interest in Wine though. As I am involved in the Wine Industry I would have loved to find out more about your wine efforts. (I grew wine for 10 years in the walled garden, but have not grown or made wine for nearly as long, although we still have plenty of bubbly in the cellar for us to drink!  R)

But that is the beauty of this place – lots of bits and pieces to enjoy. Could have easily stayed for longer.

Thank you Fiona and Richard.

Don’t hesitate….book.  (Thanks for this support and we are glad that you enjoyed the weekend. F and R)

A huge group of us descended on the two Treago cottages for a long sunny spring weekend of cycling around the Wye Valley and our every need was catered for. Richard and Fiona made us feel very welcome, showing us the highlights of the local area and allowing us to store our bikes securely in the garage. The castle grounds are beautiful and the valley is so peaceful – we were very happy to return to it at the end of each long day cycling (and have a refreshing dip in the pool!). It was great to all be able to eat together in the dining area and everyone had a comfortable bed.

Thanks very much Fiona and Richard, we hope to see you soon.

We booked both cottages for an anniversary celebration with our children and grandchildren.  Additionally our niece and her boyfriend joined us taking our total to 10 adults, 6 children and a baby. Treago’s facilities suited us very well.  We did not feel at all cramped and we were able to sit down together to eat.  The pool was a tremendous success and some children enjoyed doing their piano practice on the grand!

The local shop delivered the provisions we had ordered in time for our arrival and put things in the fridge where appropriate.

We returned to Treago this year for the third year running. Our family live in Scotland, Porchester and Godalming so this is the week that we get together with our three children and five grandchildren. We had a brilliant week with good weather. We always find new places to visit. This year we discovered Puzzlewood which the children loved.
Treago is the perfect spot for a family get together. We use the pool every day and it is great to have the big table where we can all eat, play games and make things together. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable – the new beds are great. The grounds are lovely with plenty of room for the children to explore. They love the big tree outside the house and it is the first and last place that they play in.
We have already booked next years week and the children are already discussing next years adventures and activities.
Lovely to meet the owners Fiona and Richard who are very welcoming.
Thankyou very much.
