These cottages are excellent for reunions of families and friends who want to get together for a special occasion, yet want the benefit of separate accommodation. The large sitting / dining room in Looseboxes can be used for shared meals. The Coach House links internally to Looseboxes.

The five acres of shared grounds, which include an arboretum with many unusual trees and shrubs, give plenty of places to explore up the hill behind the cottages. BBQ’s and garden furniture are provided in summer. Looseboxes has its own small fenced garden (not guaranteed dog-proof).

The fortified fifteenth century house has always belonged to the Mynors family. Tours for at least 5 people are sometime possible by arrangement, and a small charge is made. The family live on site to provide support if necessary.
